The tree was felled before the snow, but pictures were somewhat slower.
It gave a good blow to the cedar tree in it's way.
Turns out maple is really heavy! Brother Don says it is best to give it a while to dry before trying to split it. Some of those rounds were over 200 pounds each!
Bill Sparks hydraulic splitter was just the ticket!
The grain didn't seem to run in a straight line on any of that tree!
Should be lots of dry wood for next winter and more sun in the front yard! Only one bush was bothered in all of this process!
